But what's a synod? A synod is a geographical region that is organized under one bishop and bishop's staff. Our Delaware-Maryland Synod is how we stay connected to other churches throughout the states of Maryland and Delaware. There are 65 synods within the ELCA.
Synod Youth Ministry - our synod has a dedicated staff of youth ministry leaders who organize and facilitate meaningful faith experiences for youth all across the synod. From elementary school to high school and beyond, your child too can be connected to a larger supportive faith community.
