'Serving Others Saturdays' Christmas Bazaar and Food Drive, 2 Dec, 8am - 1pm
After a brief hiatus, our 'Serving Others Saturday' for December is going to be spectacular and indoors! Crafters, vendors, books, gifts, flea market, music, activities for the kids, lunch, baked goods, and so much more!
How can you help? There are so many ways:
1. Ask your vendor and crafter friends to sign up with Deb Jones (443-994-4637) or Jane Hudgins (410-218-1747). Tables are only $10 each!
2. Ask your friends and family to attend. Repost the Rejoice Fellowship post to your Facebook page.
3. Get a flea market table for yourself. It's a great way to declutter and make a little extra Christmas money in the process.
4. Sign up to help set up & decorate, serve lunch, prepare for or work the church rummage table & book sale, bake goodies, help with the children's activities, pop popcorn, serve hot chocolate, sell your own items, and help with clean up.
5. Donate items to the church rummage sale. Please ensure they are clean and in working order.
6. Bring your non-perishable food items and enjoy the fun and fellowship of our last Living Stones event of 2023.
There's something for everyone to do to help make this special event a huge success. See the sign up sheet in the gathering area.
Update on Pastor Maddie
While Pastor Maddie's surgery went very well, the pathology report suggested a slight progression, which means more waiting for more tests and scans to determine what's next. Her strength has come back remarkably fast and, Praise God, she has almost no other physical or neurological side effects from the surgery. She continues to be so appreciative of your prayers, meals, and donations. Please hold Pastor Maddie in prayers for patience, courage, strength, and healing.

ADVENT is Near!
On Sunday, December 3, the season of Advent begins our preparation for the celebration of the birth of Christ. We will again be using the Sanctified Arts program for this year entitled “ How Does a Weary World Rejoice?”. We are hoping, with your help, to create our own banners to hang in the sanctuary. On Sunday, November 26, we will be painting these banners during the coffee hour time. We are hoping that you will step up and do your little part to create these works of art by filling in some of the color!
The Worship Team has planned for the Advent/Christmas season with the caveat that Christmas Eve is on a Sunday this year. That means that the fourth Sunday in Advent is Christmas Eve. With that in mind, with our current pastoral situation, and considering the needs of our members, we are planning on having two services that day, one at 10am as usual and one at 6pm. We will begin the morning service with the lighting of the fourth candle for Advent and then move on to a more Christmas-centered service for those who cannot attend the later Christmas Eve service at 6pm.
Advent I – December 3
Advent II - December 10
Advent III- December 17
Advent IV- December 24 and Christmas Eve

Christmas Wreath Workshop,
Plan a special day for you and a few friends. Make a beautiful Christmas wreath for yourself or someone else. They make wonderful gifts and there's a special feeling you get when you say you made it yourself. Snacks and drinks provided. Sign up and pick your design in the Gathering Area. See Jane Hudgins for questions.
